Caroline Kane

BIOGRAPHY

Caroline Kane brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Nacmias Law Firm, where she manages the firm’s OATH and ECB violations practice areas. With a background as a former Department of Buildings (DOB) prosecutor, Caroline quickly transitioned from preparing defenses and arguing against DOB violations to managing a large docket of thousands of cases. Her hands-on experience with both prosecution and defense makes her an invaluable asset to the firm and its clients.

In addition to overseeing OATH and ECB cases, Caroline manages the firm’s team of attorneys, ensuring efficient case handling and strategic outcomes. She also lends her expertise to the firm’s landlord-tenant practice, assisting with case strategy, negotiations, and settlements to help clients resolve disputes effectively. Her deep understanding of complex legal matters allows her to guide the firm’s day-to-day activities and deliver high-quality legal service.

Caroline earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2020, where she served on the Environmental Law Review and was published twice through her work with the law school’s clinic. She also clerked at the Eastern District of New York, gaining valuable experience in both judicial and civil matters. Prior to law school, she attended

Boston College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and working as a project assistant at an international law firm, focusing on legal research and trial preparation.

When she’s not managing legal cases, Caroline enjoys cheering on the New York Liberty WNBA team as a dedicated season ticket holder. Whether on the court or in the courtroom, Caroline’s passion and dedication are always on display.
