Mabel Oghojafor is a dedicated legal associate at Nacmias Law Firm, where she assists in both the Landlord-Tenant and Civil Litigation practice areas. Recently passing the New York State Bar, Mabel brings a fresh perspective and a strong foundation of legal knowledge as she prepares for admission to practice law in New York. Her attention to detail and passion for advocacy make her a vital part of the team, supporting clients through complex legal matters.
Mabel’s work in the Landlord-Tenant practice involves assisting with lease disputes, holdover and non-payment proceedings, and settlement negotiations. She also contributes to the Civil Litigation practice, where she helps prepare legal filings, research case law, and develop strategic defenses in cases involving contract disputes, business conflicts, and other civil matters. Her ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide thorough support ensures that clients receive high-quality representation throughout their cases.
Prior to joining Nacmias Law Firm, Mabel gained valuable experience through internships and legal clerkships, where she developed a solid understanding of legal research, client advocacy, and litigation procedures. Her passion for helping clients navigate challenging legal situations stems from her commitment to justice and fairness.
In her spare time, Mabel enjoys exploring New York City’s vibrant cultural scene and dedicates herself to volunteer work focused on community legal education and access to justice.
